2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

2005 can't have Stormers???

Hi.

I am having a 2005(05) plate RRS TDV6 delivered from Wakefield Land Rover on Tuesday.

And after frantically searching for 20" Stormers, today my boyfriend kindly explains to me that early RRS's, i.e. 05's cannot have 20" wheels fitted as it voids warranty and causes the car to have further problems.

Is this true?

Has anybody else had this problem?

I can't wait to hear your thoughts!!!

Do a search... much has been said on this topic.
Basically, on earlier models you need a "damped" steering rack to accommodate 20" stormers. Just check if your vehicle has this and no need to worry about warranty issues if its there. Malaysia Boleh!

We have a 2006 model without Dynamic Pack, but has the steering rack damper fitted Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

There is a post a very very long time ago with pictures showing what to look for.................................. I'm not meaning to be rude but you could search the forums using the "Search" function to look for Damped Steering Rack. I'm not sure about this and maybe somebody else can put me right but it may be that the damped rack is now standard on all models. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I seem to remember speaking to a stealer about this and he said retro fitting is not an option as the whole rack needs replacing, not just fitting a damper.

All models should now have it fitted as standard (I believe!!!) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

Yes, you will have to replace the whole rack and yes, I do believe all later models have them as standard. Malaysia Boleh!

stormers!

for some good stormers you lot should go to xxx xxx xxx xxx I got mine from there they look the dogs dagglies but these are 22" stormers i think you lot are after 20". I must admit I tried both sets on and the 22" just looked so much better. They will also exchange your old alloys!
