Formula One to return to BBC TV

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...306123.stm

Is it just me, or is Bernie a bit of a Barsteward.... ITV took F1 coverage on leaps and bounds from the Beeb. That said, if the BBC can keep up the standards without the breaks, great....

But with Bernie, you just gotta know whom and what you are dealing with... 2022 P440e AB

Personally i prefer the BBC in all sport coverage - granted ITV have done well - but the doing well has come from the evolution of the technology - not from the excellence of their presenters etc - I'll be glad of the loss of adverts. Curious to think what presenters would come on board now it's back where it should be

They were interviewing Murry Walker this morning and asking him if he was returning, SWMBO was chattering on so didn't get to hear his reply other than "... lot of water has past under the bridge since then..." Hope we get The Chain back again Thumbs Up Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I'm pleased with this - caught the back end of an MP moaning about it on Radio4 this evening - apparently the Beeb should tell us how much it cost them so we can decide whether it is value for money Rolling Eyes

Great News - NO MORE STUPID Censored AD BREAKS Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

The only thing I would be concerned about is that the BBC might not take on Martin Brundle - His insights into the technical & drivers side of racing add so much to the watching experience that it would be a real loss. As for the rest of the ITV team, YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK ---- GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Green 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007)
GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black

Agreed re Brundle but the ITV lady is good. She has a good relationship with DC etc.

Hoping we're not going to have to put up with the Murrayisms. Now that Nelson Piquet Jnr is racing, we'll just be in fankle. Much like the Villneuves. Used to drive me mad. NO Murray, that is not Giles, sadly he's dead... 2022 P440e AB

Hey Paulo, You're right, I'd forgotton about Louise Goodman, Embarassed She's actually pretty good.
At a push I also don't mind Mark Blundell, at least he was a racer too. But, as for Steve Rider, Ted Kravetz & Especially James Allen - I refer to my previous statement - GOODBYEEEE Mr. Green Wink 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Err yeah. Similar experience so now go to Ace of Blades. £8 per hair cut.
Doesn't matter what you ask for. Always get a "I'm going to be a drill instructor" cut. 2022 P440e AB
