They're used to stop unnecessary vibrations damaging the car over periods of time - a lot of cars have these, but not always quite so obvious. Don't get anyone to move them - it will all end in tears

They are fitted to all RR Sports and Discovery 3, nothing to do with the dynamic response.

Lets put it this way, if they weren't necessary you can bet Land Rover wouldn't have fitted them. Leave them well alone. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
