I don't honestly think they have a strong design ethos at LR - which is fine. I work in design, and aesthetics are everything to me. I keep a paintbrush in the front to dust the dash when I'm at the lights! i still think they could have done more with the dash but there you go. The tips as standard would do much to convey how strong and sporty diesels are. Just look at Audi's new V12 Diesel due on the Q7 and maybe R8 too....

But hey, love the RRS......next to my 650, best car I've ever had - although have a Maser G Tourismo on order....so lets see...

Yep those chrome tips do make the car look good, i think it could be standard on factory cars as it does not effect the route of the exhaust gasses

Saw these tips or very similar in LR showroom the other day on a ltd edition FL2. So don't know if that is a dealer idea to boost sales or LR are waking up to the fact that some customers like a sporty looking exhaust with the black stuff going down. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

very happy with mine and not a whisper of a vibration - next things on the agenda - remap and slightly darkened rear lights - my stupidity really but didn't know that bodyshops now tint the lights and then bake them in the over to harden...not going for a very stupid full black, just lightly smoked to get rid of the orange and white. Wish I had the balls to get tigers - there i something very beautiful but also very ugly at the same time! know what I mean?
