Sill Plates

Where is the best place to purchase sill plates for my RRS. Tasmod would seem to have the best rep for supplying these but is not responding to my pleas. Is he still selling them.

I think so - he usually uses ebay as his shop window. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

I got mine from main stealer in Leeds but they were about £160 from memory (although I can't remember exactly). They look absolutely mint on though and easy to fit unless you're half way through the job and your wife drags you up to the stables to bring the horse in and your sticky wipee thing that makes them stay on dries out..... Jaguar XKR Convertible

Very Happy mate, these things have to be done. I got my with a discount, but am sure we have the same ones - nice finishing touch if you want something original - apart from the colour coding on my car, every other part is RR OEM - ok thought of the side repeaters too, they aren't either! But the sills are great!

Jonathan, do you miss your 645? I've had a 645 and just recently sold my 4 month old 650 - this should scare you, lost 20K in just 3 months.....miss it, and on cold days with seeing people with the roof down and sun shining....oh well! RRS is lovely, more road presence, but always love a convertible!

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

I know what you mean but needs must!
Just posted on another discussion about roof mounted tv's - my neighbour and business partner www.networkintegration.co.uk) has just bought a Caterham 300 superlight so we have that insured for each of us and I hope I'll get my open top driving kicks from that in the summer although it isn't a patch on the Beamer or Jag. Sorry you losyt so much on it - I knew they depreciated fast - I had mine on co lease and it was £1k per month and then they still wanted £35k back for it at the end (it was £67k all in originally).

I think if I had a choice of a 3rd car now I would prob go for the new Jag xkr conv - mine was an amazing car and the girls loved it. Jaguar XKR Convertible

The interior on the Jag just puts me right off - really have strong negative views on it. I have a Maser G Tourismo on order, so looking forward to that. And just hoping I can afford the balance of the RRS and the Maser..but lets see. Love the BM, most complete car I've ever had. And the sound always made me happy.
