As far as I'm aware you can swap halogen lights for the Xenons but NOT the adaptive Xenons. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

At very low speed ie turning into a junction or into your drive, you will clearly see a shift in the beam. Speed Limits! not where I live!

They aren't in the main lamp headlamp cluster which makes you wonder why they call them adaptive headlamps! There is a second side light lamp in the side light pod and when you turn the steering wheel or indicate one way the lamp on that side comes on in a sort of spotlight mode rather than a floodlight mode! This second lamp has it's lamp pointing straight ahead so there must be a very complex reflector at the back to focus it to one side. I'm not complaining mind - they are excellent of twisty country roads at night or in carparks.

Why don't you turn the lights switch to "AUTO" and then start the car. Adaptive headlights will do a little dance! I'm sure there will be problems with these. The D3 chaps have talked about this and I would guess the system is the same. You will not get the correct coverage. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
