Indeed - loses the whole "floating roof effect". The RRS can only take so much colour coding in my opinion - and it works better on the darker colours. There was a pic of a fully colour coded Silver one doing the rounds some while ago and it was just too much. But each to their own |

This is colour coded. I.E. Most grey bits are now body coloured (including door handles on mine)

Forgot to say - the black RRS can tae full colour coding as the bits that need coding are dark already.

This is how to ruin a RRS by coding.

I would have thought painting the Lower Sills would make it really hard to keep the car looking good due to the number of scratches you would end up with. The type of plastics used in those areas tend to be more scratch resistant, but if you painted them I think it could start to look scruffy pretty quickly. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black 2013 Evoque 5 Door Pure Tech SD4 - Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof (Mrs E's new baby) GONE - RRS - 3.0 TDV6 HSE - Santorini (2010) GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007) GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black ![]() |
