England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
Replacing Front Bumper

I have managed to badly damage the front bumper on my ’06 RRS TDV6 S, the vehicle currently has the old style bumper without fog lights.

On ebay I have noticed I can buy the new style bumpers in black complete with Fog lights for less than my insurance excess.

Does any one know if the new style bumper fittings are the same? Also if fog lights can be retro fitted i.e. does the wring already exist behind the bumper and can you connect it easily inside the car?

If so how easy are they to fit?

Any help gratefully received Thanks

Steve

Steve the bumper fixings haven't changed so you should have no problem fitting the new bumper from ebay.

I'm not sure about the electrics though, if you haven't already got front fogs you won't have the correct light switch to operate them from inside the cabin. Having said all that, I'm sure a half decent auto electrician could sort this out for you. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Wires are not there but as TB says can be done but is fairly time consuming. Considering LR quote 5 hours or so to install the extra driving lamps I would simply leave them unattached. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I suspect if you fit the bumber and leave the foglights unconnected, then this vehicle will not pass the MOT Exclamation TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
