What Does Your Land Rover Button Do?

1. We all know you can programe lots of different functions but I thought it would be good to know what people have set their's to do, and if there is a trend.

2. Also, what would you like it to do.

1. Mine is set to open the tailgate.

2. I had an electric tailgate on the Q7, great for when it's chucking it down when your carrying the wife's shopping back to the car or coming back after walking the dogs. So opening an electric tailgate for me. Speed Limits! not where I live!

I'll second that, its very stupid. I have no idea why they would do such an idiotic thing.

The hazard warning lights thing is to warn your kids to stop playing under the car as the suspension is about to lower. The kids know its ok when the hazards aren't on, but if the hazards are on, they should play under another car.

i actually asked that question when i was at the dealer before the purchase.

he said, "sir, this is a british car." Rolling Eyes

whatever that means, electrical opening would definitely be a plus for RRS. MY08 TDV8 HSE

I have a BMW 5 series that has a trunk release button on the key fob which open the trunk all the way when pressed. It accidentally opens the trunk a few times while the key fob was in my pocket. Many times I went to my car only to see the trunk wide open. Once it happen while it was raining heavy and the trunk got soaked. Mad 2007 RRS HSE

Mine used to be set to unlock full tailgate but the one day it just started unlocking top part only Confused

Too bone idle to read up how to reprogram it.

I think an electric tailgate would definitely be a good idea. Thumbs Up

Mine is set to make the wife smile, the kids stop fighting and the dogs sit down. I trained them to do this whilst holding down the LR Button. Now, when ever we are having "one of those moments" on a long journey, I simply press the magic button and peace is restored. Worth the £50k just for that. Really can't understand why other car manufacturers dont install such a wonderful system.

Would be good if you could talk in to the key and your voice come from the car so it looked like someone was inside the car. How much fun would that be down the pub? Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
