My experience with tugging things off is that expect to break the clips - go to your parts department and pre-order replacements. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I think that like most of the exterior trim clips on the RR Sport, the clips on the lower tailgate applique are a one fit clip. So the term "release and install" basically means if you remove the trim you have to install new clips.

it just pops off, no clips need to be replaced, as long as you pop the old ones off. its very easy. there may be two screws but i'm not sure. just pop your trunk and look around the edges of the molding. if you dont see any screws that appear to be holding it in, yank very hard on the corner. You'll see the plastic pressure clips that lock it in. |
