Yep - kids are wanting tv's in th back. RR say that they no longer do their kit in the options magazine, and anyway there were loads of problems with that anyway.

So, who knows of areally cool, functional, discreet tv, dvd, aux for games, wireless headsets etc etc. I have an A1 auto electrician to fit it so no probs there.

Decision to be made in the next couple of weeks.

I had a freeview box in my X5... COMPLETE waste of time! could Never get a signal...

OK - I'll try and hide my excitement.....
Have just got my RR back from Max at Motolectro in Leeds (number available if you want to use him - he's the best.) He has fitted a Video Stream Technologies 9.5" overhead monitor with integrated dvd. it perfectly matches my headlining and is very discreet when not in use - you can't see it at all through your rear view mirror.

Max has fitted it and connected it so that it runs either through the stereo or through a set of wireless headphones. There's all the usual functionality of a dvd player either through the controls of the unit or from a typical remote control. The sound quality is excellent and picture quality perfect as you'd expect.

This unit has lights on it as courtesy lights that come on when the doors open - as a favour he also rewired the lights in the rear area of the car to come on in the same way as the front ones - All good!!!

He had to move the sensor for the alarm but as he's an alarm and immobiliser expert fitter that was no problem.

I'd recommend him wholheartedly (sorry site sponsors!!)

How much - just short of £700 in the end (although I think that was mates rates!!) (Although he's not technically a mate)

One very happy customer. If you are even considering getting this done speak to Max - he's your man.
