How pleased I was to see Gary Glitter get 3 years for child molestation in Vietnam - maybe our legal system should take note at the speed of this trial. Only one bad thing, the sentence isn't long enough. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

He's to be extradited after he has served his sentence. They obviously want to get rid of him asap. To be honest, I'm surprised the sentence is so lenient too - I would have thought Vietnam isn't one of those countries you want to break the law in but it seems he's got off lightly. |

Agree, he won't be hearing the last of this which maybe is a bit more judicial than the sentence itself. Assuming he stays here once he's extradited that is... I assume that's why he went to live in Vietnam in the first place. |

He should rot in jail over there. My girlfriend is half vietnamese/norwegian and the local information over there is that GG did pay off the families to stop the case BUT another source paid the families more money to retract statements and to go through with the court case. |
