Lord knows! But how much is a FFRR going to cost us over here? It's highly likely that we would be quids in to import from UK and pay the excise duty which we would still have to pay if we bought here. It's the base price of cars here that is extortionate AS WELL as the ridiculous excise tax. I don't have a real set preference of order for RS vs AMG vs M cars, I judge them on individual merit. In this class of car, my personal preference would be: 1. RS6 2. M5 3. E63 Just an opinion.. I'd go RS first too, but thats purely based on image - Mrs ST's logic is actually one of the reasons I'd go RS over the AMG and M's. Although if I was putting my money wear my mouth is I'm sure it actually be quite a hard choice between the RS6 and M5 Touring. AMG is a brute, but feels too heavy to throw around imho (based on my experience driving an E55) |

Personally it would be a saloon though, not an estate.

To my mind, you can't beat the feel of the BMW and it's technical prowess. The engine's pretty much a masterpiece, the chassis is second to none and I happen to think they look great. Job done.

Apparantly it has the dyanmic suspension which (allegedly) makes it ride better than last generation RS6...

That video review in Car mentioned that even the Sport setting wasn't too bad on the dampers... I expect it'll be a great distance cruiser, excellent to go on holiday in etc. I'll give it one thing, the interior looks much much better than you get in an M5 - very classy, but that's Audi interiors for you. Not sure I've seen an E63 interior to compare.
