My dad had a BMW when i was about 5 and pretty much have always had a BM in the family ever since. Only really got in to AMG's when we got the SL. So have a thing for M car's and AMG's Can appreciate what the RS's are all about but their not for me Thumbs Up

Hah.. you're just upset i didn't let you have a go in mine!
The M3 is much more to my liking to be honest.

My father, now on the other hand. Getting him a new car right now.
A8 3.0TDI Quattro with all the toys up for grabs. Whats on the way... another 07 plate A8 3.0 TDI in LWB guise.. can't get him into anything else now.. ticks all the boxes for him..

Now im waiting for the RS5.. should be good!

I've always had a soft spot for BMWs too and out of the all the cars I've ever owned probably 80% of them have been BMWs. A friend of mine used to have a heavily modified RS6 - it was good for about 550 horses I think and given it was an estate, it was monumentally quick but serenely so. Having had rides in both Jay's 55 and Kam's RS4 (when he had it) - they were rip-your-head-off quick with all the associated noise too Bow down

I have respect for all these cars in their own different ways. Money no object, I'd be buying an M5 Touring tomorrow - that's what ticks all the boxes for me. I still think 77k for the new RS6 is overpricing it a bit.

I've had an RS6 on order for almost a year now. I think I'm somewhere near the top of the list.
I had an original RS4 and the very first UK customer RS6. However, having just spent all my brownie points for the foreseeable future on the Cobra, I somehow doubt I'll taking delivery of the new RS6 Laughing

I love M cars, AMG's and RS's.

Despite the price, I still want one but the saloon for me please.

Like i've said before, I want one but Mrs ST is none-too-impressed. I love the whole Q-car thing and the squared off swollen wheelarches look awesome. Sepang Blue or Metallic Black Saloon! Bow down Bow down

She likes Audis but feels they are 'A rung below BM's and Merc's' in the badge snobbery stakes... Rolling Eyes Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Which is true enough to Joe Bloggs...

How much is an RS6 going to set you back in Cyprus mate? More than the ripoff 77k it would cost here no doubt. Confused

That's funny, because I see it as exactly the reverse of that.
