United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey
Arrive at Last !!!

Well, last night it finally happened the misses walked out.....(ok, only kidding, wishfull thinking !!)

Yep, I picked up my new RRS TDV6!!!

Loving it, wish I'd picked one up sooner. Its a 55 plate, Bonatti grey with 20" wheels, BT phone, Stero upgrade, 18,500 miles, privacy glass and a ton of other stuff seeing as it was brought of Aston Villa Player !!

Couple of questions, should the fuel flap lock? and what range will I get out of the car? Filled it up from complete empty (£87 Shocked ) and it showed tank range of 320 miles...certainly hope that increases !!

Got a a spare pair of 19" wheels with good tyres going if anyone is interested? If a dogs born in a barn it does'nt make it a horse.

Congrats, the fuel flap should lock when the car is locked and of course opens when either you double unlock the car(2 presses on the remote) or you press the open padlock button on the the dash, to check the mechanism is working open the flap and using the remote unlock and lock the car. You should see the pin slide in and out. Not sure about the range but one of the other guys will give you some examples. also do a search as i'm sure it's been covered before. Enjoy Thumbs Up Speed Limits! not where I live!

You should get somewhere between 420 - 450 on a tank of fuel, as long as you are not wearing lead diving boots everytime you get onboard. Laughing

As everyone else has said before, the fuel flap should lock and unlock with the central locking feature.

Shame about the Aston Villa bit though Twisted Evil Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Well done exsigs - sounds great. As another example, mine used to get between 450-500 miles out of tank. Mostly faster roads though so obviously if you're constantly pootling round in town then it'll be considerably worse.
