This is the trouble... it's still got an Audi badge on it. The R8 was priced high enough... |

But shmoogle, out of all the fast Audis, the RS6 is the one with kudos. Dynamicaly an M5 is a far better machine, but the existing RS6 is much more of an 'event' to drive - let's hope Audi doesn't over sanitise or over produce the new car. The RS4 has left me cold as has the new M3, whereas the prospect of an RS6............well, I will have mine debadged in Navy Blue with Black Alcantara / Leather interior please - oh yes, and delivery by the first week in may would be excellent! Currently: Carbon Black 535d RIP: RRSTDV6 HSE & DISCO3 HSE |

No Jay - wish I had the funds! I have been a massive fan of the RS6 since they launched the original - it took about 12/16 months for reasonable mileage sub 50K examples of the M5 to appear so I am banking on it taking about 18months / 2 years for the RS6 to do the same. Even as a used by the residuals should be exceptionaly strong - the current used model in 'plus' guise is still fetching 40K plus!
