After almost 100 years using my trusty Nokia 6310i she has finally given up (3 keys on the key pad no longer work). The pain of being parted from this old and trusted friend is very great. Made much worse by the fact I have gone from the stone age to the space age by getting a free N95 from my network (02). How on earth does this thing work ?

Yes, MDP had to do some sort of change to his N95 to get it to work properly in his Audi - which has since been shown to work in RRSs. Just shows that mobiles have become too complicated for their own good.

I have a 8Gb Black N95 and the GPS does not lock on in 3 secs. It takes much longer. At least a minute in normal conditions in my experience.

Guess I must be a complete technophobe, but I can't work out how to do anything on this phone.

it means the phone is locked to orange and you can not use it with your O2 sim card..........unless you get it unlocked, normally done by the mobile phone stalls at the local market for about £10

search for a program called "my phone explorer", you will need a cable though (possible that bluetooth would work if you have a bluetooth enabled computer) and then i beleive you should be able to copy phonebook, sms messages to the new phone |
