Go to another dealer... don't burden yourself with a bunch of idiots just because they happen to be in a convenient location!

What a load of !!!!!! My dealer said that the wheel on my FFRR needed ajusting due to the fact that I could have hit a pot hole in the raod. I said what off I am supposed to be able to drive over mountains and I could have hit a pot hole don't think so, sort it. supercharged man the next step is to get in touch with customer services tell them how unhappy you are with the service and you want this looked at. I did went to another dealer and hey prestoe something was wrong, just keep being a pain in the arse. IT IS NOT RIGHT!!! all excuses. |

This just shows they're not willing to take responsibility for the problem! They can't send you somewhere else to get something done and then "bring back the printout" - I wouldn't stand for that attitude.

do they want you to get it done at a LR Dealer, that is what mine is claiming to avoid any pay out against 2 badly scrubbed tyres.. sorry sir the non-franchise based tyre company did not put the vehicle in geometry mode, they do not have the kit to do it so their readings are b0ll0x my dealer claims.. hmm more accurate than theirs i would offer Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Not for you to do supercharged man tell them it is under warranty and it should be done by them, as Zilch says the vehicle needs to be in a special mode, so they should get their finger out. They are all the bloody same . good luck mate |

I don't know, but I doubt it has. Was this the place you took it to be realigned?

My car had the 4 wheel alignment done recently. The dealer put the car in "stress mode" before they took it to the wheel alignment place to have it done.

took it back to the tyre place today and it turns out they tracked it as a range rover not a sport and the steering is all sorted now but the figures where more or less spot on in the first place which does not explain the outer tyre wear????its going to the dealer next friday????

I had the outer tyre wear issue on my TDV6. Its not quite so bad on my tdv8 apart from one wheel FNS. A tyre fitter told me that this problem is very common on all makes of heavy 4x4's due to the weight and cornering. As for "stress mode". I think they force it via the onboard computor to simulate the car being heavily loaded. But I may be wrong. If what the dealer told me is correct, then I doubt your tyre fitter had a clue about that. TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |
