My 2.7 v6 has just covered 12000 miles on 0 litres, then again she was in a container on a big boat!!!! |

What do you think is terrible about it? Concur with Shmoogle, you have a 2.5 ton vehicle there, so 25-27 does not sound that bad. I have had a few jap rice rockets in my time, a mere 2.0 litre engines and a small family saloon shell and got on average no more than 20 MPG..my previous 2.5 TD5 disco returned about 25 on a long trip...
