On-the-move navigation input has not been universally implemented on 2007s. Here in North America for example, we are still locked out of it as soon as we start rolling, and to make matters worse Land Rover also disabled the 1791 hack on MY2007s (as well as on MY06 updated with 07 map DVDs)... Evil or Very Mad So, whether this feature has been added on 07s or not is up to what Land Rover decided to do in your country.

Hey, new to the forum, and I've been reading various threads related to nav on the move. For those of us in the US, what I've concluded based on the various posts is that if I have a MY06 RRS, the following is true:

1) Can use the 1791 hack if I have the original DVD, but no way to permanently enable it
2) Can no longer use the 1791 hack if I buy a new DVD, period
3) Dealers in US won't (ever) do the software upgrade to enable nav on the move

Is that about right?

1 and, sadly, 3 are right. Perhaps the new Indian owners will be less uptight... we'll see. Regarding 2, you can hack - yet another hack - the latest (2006/2007) North America data DVD to remove a key file and allow use of updated maps and POIs on your 2006 RRS while also retaining the temporary 1791 code bypass. I did it and it worked like a charm. You need a dual layer DVD+R (Staples sells them for about $5/ea), a disk drive capable of reading and writing DL DVD+Rs, plus ripping software.
