I eventually received my TDV8 back on the 29 Dec after being in the garage since 4 Dec 07. This was it's third visit and all told it has spent two months in garages being repaired in it's nine month short life. It's first visit to the garage was a nightmare and too long winded to repeat, although I must say Landrover Assist have and were very good.

Anyway, not only did I lose the use of my car during it's frequent visits to the garage but I also find myself out of pocket for more than two hundred quid. So I searched and found an E mail address for a guy called Phill Popham (MD Landrover). I sent him mail explaining the situation on Wed evening and still not received a reply even to say he received it or will get someone to look into it. So I'm a bit peed off at the moment, I know it's only a couple of hundred quid but is there anyone else I could get in touch with

You won't get much higher up the chain than Phil Popham. Land Rover have only just returned to work after the Christmas and New Year holiday. I would leave it a couple of more days and then try contacting Land Rover Customer Services. Mr Popham's secretary would probably forward your e mail to them anyway.
