There's a huge performance difference and you will leave most other things standing, including some quite fast machines! The road-holding and drivablity are a world away from the TDv6.

I've had my TDV8 for nearly 2 weeks now and not getting over 21mpg average! Done 1500 miles in that time too. Anyone any ideas when i should start seeing some improvement? Mostly this week it's been urban driving so can understand the low mpg but even on long motorway stretches at a steady 80-90 leptons then not getting much better than 22mpg! |

Lynx you are enjoying that rumbling exhaust/ induction roar too much I found that easing back to 70-75 pays dividends and you can still drop it into Sport on the commandshift when you want to play at boy racers.

7k miles plus on mine, I have MT/R tyres on and those hurt the mpg quite a lot but still managing 25-26mpg.
