United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey
Range Rover Vogue - Fuel Tank Range

Long time since my last post but hopefully you can help me out.

Not *really* a RRS question - but a RR question.

I'm looking to get a 2004 54 RR Vogue 3.0td6 diesel.

What kind of fuel consumption would I be looking at for mixed driving?

Also how many miles, generally, per tank - considering its a monster 100litre tank?

Hope someone can help!

Cheers,

Rick. RRS SC

I had a 2003MY TD6 SE before my Tdv6 Sport, just looking at my old fuel records I was averaging 23-26mpg in mixed driving and up to 33 on long (400+ miles per trip) runs - could do Glasgow -Southampton easily on 3/4 tank - in the TDv8 I have a 80ltr tank and can get to Southampton but haven't (yet) tried to go any further on the less than 1/8 tank remaining! I rarely "wellied" the TD6 FFRR preferring just to be wafted along at 70 on the cruisecontrol. RRUK would be the person to PM as he is now running a TD6 Vogue. That would be 550-600 miles on a tank driven with care 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Could try posting this over on fullfatrr.com too?

A friend of mine who until recently ran a TD6 FFRR used to get low 20s but then he did weigh it down with bags of cement, furniture, fireplaces etc....

He sounds like a prime candidate for a Disco3, S. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My girlfriend managed to get 17mpg (on computer) when she took it on 450 mile trip with the girls! No it wasn't a petrol!

I had my TD6 chipped by JE Engineering so its not a standard car anymore, however, I am getting about 24-25 mpg on average and I don't drive slowly. I generally seem to get about 500-530 miles per tank.

If I were to drive more sedately, keeping it under 80mph I reckon my consumption would creep up to about 26mpg.

Hope that helps L319 D4 HSE
