Just a thought... Whistle

Wouldn't say it's barracking Super - just honest comment. Far be it from us to insult anyone (apart from HST owners of course, who have it coming to them) Wink

They do seem to be flying off the shelves but personally have never seen many on the roads... the standard build is much more commonplace.

Saw one yesterday parked at Trafford Centre. I think it was Stornoway.

Really not sure. The grille looked slightly better in the metal but those exhaust pipes are horrendous Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Could you tell me if the XS will have parking sensors and heated, electric seats? The lower list price sounds and ideal way to keep the company car tax down a bit from the much higher priced hse. Will dealers take deposits on them at this point? Info appreciated.

I would guess that it won't have the items you've specifically listed as it's based on an 'S'. I would have thought that dealerships will take a deposit, on the basis of them being allocated enough XS's to cover your order and those before you, and them getting one in your colour combination.

As soon as I get more information (probably get a brochure in the new year), then I'll try to post the info or a link to where it is on the www.landrover.co.uk website.

TBH each dealership will work differently, therfore best bet is to pop in and see them for a chat. Thumbs Up

James

I have just found this thread again, it looks like TDV6 'S' special editions are frowned up Confused

What are your thoughts on the basic RRS TDV6 'S' version Question few have the option of added leather and satnav

Its not much more than a top spec FL2 HSE and P11D is not too much more, and even better when looking at near new/1yrs old

Would the new engine be put into base models, bring lower emmissions etc

Just pondering out loud Wink

Looks good value for money to me too. We have one in white, one in black and one in grey on their way to the dealership. I'll post pics when they finally get to the showroom.

James Thumbs Up
