2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Mid January Green Road Run in Loch Lomond National Park

OK let's have another go for the Scottish contingent.....

SLROC's next Green road run is on 20th January 2008, meet at 1030 in the car park at Aberfoyle then proceed via Forestry Commission trails through the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park to Comer Farm then take a private road round the back of Ben Lomond and down to the east shore of Loch Lomond to Cailness (NN342063 on OS Land Ranger sheet 56). which is about 2/3rds of the way between Rowardennan and Inversnaid and otherwise only accessible be boat.
The Orange arrow on the map is the destination - on this map go from Aberfoyle via the forest to Comer then head north and west round the back of Ben Lomond. All on hard surface farm and hunting/shooting/fishing roads.
Non members are really welcome to join in - so long as they have a Land Rover!

Unfortunately I will be in China when this one is on. The trails are suitable for all Land Rovers no special tyres required (although I wouldn't advise 20" wheels with very low profile tyres on them)- just some money for the entry fee, fuel, camera, warm clothes, picnic, wellies and a Land Rover of some sort. Dogs are welcome too
__ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I'm not joking S, but we use our winter wetsuits right through to mid July here when we go windsurfing. The water is warmer in January than it is in June when all the winter snow melt has made it's way into the Loch. So yes by all means bring your Speedos if you want to look like a right prat on an offroading day! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

But there is a very nice hotel on the banks called the Cameron House - have stayed there on a couple of occasions! Thumbs Up
