United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Got steps fitted today - took 2 hours @ Stratstone. V Impressed with service....better than BMW on this occasion! I asked the lady I dealt with about my white linen 'jiuce man from del-monte' strides getting sullied - she looked at me gone out and said "well, you just step on the side steps........ - thats what they are for Mr W!".

Cocky mare! Was proper riled until I caught glimpse of her little pierced tongue... I was left to crawl off home with shiny new steps, a flushed face.... and a semi on. Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hopefully the dim wit Ukranian hand car wash outfit I go to will now use my new steps instead of trying to scrabble onto my side moulding bits to get to the roof (I kid you not!)

Scotland 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

My RRS came with side steps fitted. I am thinking of taking them off, but, how are they fitted in the first place?
Are there exsisting holes for the bolts in the body or do new holes have to be drilled? I don't want to take them off and find bare metal which will rust and let water in.

Regards George.
