Does anyone know where the VIN number is in on a range rover sport in the engine bay.
went to buy one off autotrader but couldn't find the VIN number and neither could he which was a bit strange.
If theres any other vin location it would be nice to know where they are so i could do a complete check.
Pictures would really help if anyone has any.

Under the tax disc.......................... lower left side of the windscreen, only visible from the outside, under the bonnet and in the driver's door jam. I'm surprised you couldn't see the one under the bonnet it is fairly obvious. One thing is that the RRS might have been involved in a front smash, when mine was it took nearly 10 months to get hold of a replacement VIN sticker/plate. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Surely you can find this windscreen VIN number position..





Its at the bottom of the windshield glass on the LH side of the vehicle and visible from the outside.  Malaysia Boleh!

It is also stamped into the chassis under the Drivers side door(RHD).
The sticker under the bonnet is on the RHS of the panel behind the lights(RHD). Black sticker with full VIN & color name & code..LRC 811 for example (Vesuviuos Orange)
The windscreen as has been said L/H/S lower section.
