Wurring noise when accelerating uphill

When accelerating uphill I sometimes get this intermittent wurring noise, best I can describe it really, almost sounds like a pulley of some sort. Gets worse with passengers (more weight) in the car.

Thought it was the supercharger to start with as it almost sounds like that when it first engages. Sounds mechanical though (well, duh) and coming from front/under...

Anyone else ever had anything similar? Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.
Garage: 2007 Mini Cooper, 2007 BMW 320d, 2002 Renault Clio (its a workhorse, honest)
