A friend of mine gets 24/25mpg combined out of his TDV8 and he has a heavy foot. I average around 25/26. |

With TDV8 can easily achive 30 to 32mpg keeping to speed limits, it is slightly more economical at 70 than 60 as at 60 it is in the band where it wants to change down to 5th gear.

Is there a way of seeing the mpg readout? I can only find the average? Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.

Only way to get actual is to reset the average and then read what the average states 1st. That will be actual. (Do it running downhill - makes you feel better!) 2022 P440e AB |

What i wouldn't go that far MDP they are nice and i am very impressed but i would still go for the SC with nice subtle exhausts ![]() ![]() But have seen mine read 8mpg ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks guys. At least I'm not way off on my assumptions. Biggest ruin will be if petrol prices go way north, but don't think I'll be in too much trouble unless they go up another 30p a litre, which hopefully won't happen for a while!

I just got my SC a week ago and love it to bits and made same decision as you. For equal power the V8 was 14k more for same spec and it has 100kg more n the nose with that engine so handling on sc is better if you really push it
