Proton to launch a special car for Muslims

I've just heard on the news that Malaysian car maker Proton is to collaborate with car makers in Turkey and Iran to produce a car specific to Muslims. It will have a special shelf for carrying your copy of the Koran and is to have a compass that indicates the direction of Mecca for those who have to say prayers en-route.......................
Have just checked my diary and it isn't 1st April today.

It took me quite a while to figure out why in hotels and public buildings in Malaysia there were photoluminous escape arrows on the ceilings in the rooms............................................ they point to Mecca for private prayers. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Would you not think that if Muslims that need to break journeys to pray have already got this kind of stuff covered? Are they not solving a problem that doesn't exist? Confused

Whoever thought that anybody would buy an estate car with jacked up suspension that made it look like a 4x4, BMW haven't done too badly out of selling X5's even though it was the answer to a question that had never been asked! So why not a car with a bookshelf, scarf rack and special compass? Here's a niche model from Land Rover.................. one of 2 made, two careful owners,low milage, but look at the weight of it, no wonder they weren't too popular. Make sure the aircon works as I would imagine the rear compartment could get very hot on a sunny day, you even get a throne to put your own private pope on
