Belgium 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Thanks for the answers Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I just don't like to have cables running everywhere in the car and I'm so used to charge my mobile in the car.

I'll have to find a way to have a 12V connection either in the glove compartment, either in the cubby box.

Oh well, I have another 7 weeks to find a way Mr. Green

I knew mine wasn't a 08.5 as I ordered it back in July. The cradle wasn't there by default, only the connector was and it is very easy to change cradles as it is only clips in. Bluetooth works just as well, I have the phone book and menu options on the radio display from both the 6230i and the 6233/6234 (can't remeber which one it is) The SWMBO uses a 6230i as well so no problems.
The downside is that there is no room under lid for anything to be stored on top of the fridge box lid unless you remove the cradle.
I'm happy with the spec of my car, and still have to carry a charger for the 6233 Smile Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Phantom what I do with my Motorola V3i is to put it into the cup holder and plug the cable into the front cigarette lighter, slide the louvred cover closed leaving just a small gap for the charger lead. Everything is secure in the cupholders and the cables are neat and tidy. Of course if you intend to use the front cupholders for their original purpose then you are scuppered! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have the USB and Audio Aux connectors in the upper glove box, which has the rails for storing the CDs but no problem as I have almost all my music on iPod just the kids occasionaly want to play their boomka boomka music so use the CD player.
The cubby box has the fridge in it, not that it getts too cold in it and there is an Aux power connector in the back, so 12V is available in the central console.

Now the young one wants his PS2 fitted in the back .... does it ever end??? Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Yeehaa - Just wondering ?

Well, as I was reading this post, i was wondering which model I would have, I ordered it at the end of july, and am expecting delivery this week on friday, will it be a MY08 of MY08.5 ?

The sad thing is, that on the same day as it will be delivered, I am taking off on a 2-week off-road holiday to Namibya, and the LR jewel will be waiting at the dealer for me during two weeks ... Big Cry

Well, anyway, I will be having the time of my life in Namibya, and not be sad to "have" to go home, while I will be collecting some of the best driving I'd imagine : A brand new RRS Java black TDV8 HSE with privacy glass, adaptive curve lighting, Hybrid TV, PTI, TPMS, Cold Climate, Premium Ice and Ipod connection - Yeehaaa Thumbs Up

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

If it were a UK car from a UK dealer I'd say it would be 2008. I'm not sure if mainland Europe will have the changes that we will here and what the timing of it is? I believe the US have had power column's (oh-er) for some time now.

So, if I had a gun to my head I'd say 2008? Have fun on holiday and have fun in the new car when you get back! TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

mmm Idea I've got a 80gb ipod video (I think Confused ). Anyone know if the LR system as discussed will take it Question

I think I'll be in need of a new phone soon, as ye olde 6230i is getting past its best by date and as I no longer need to plug into a cradle to use the phone book feature. Sticking my phone in the glove box to charge sounds like a neat way to resolve the charging issue......as long as it dosen't block the phones signal in any way Question TDV6 - gone
