Take care

Just thought I'd add to this old thread having been informed on Tuesday whilst in Newark - on - Trent that a certain internet Jeweller that we have referred to a lot on this forum [ Blitzwatches ] has gone belly up and to Jail for Fraud ! It doesn't seem possible to access their website either anymore !

I was told this by Andrew Michaels of Newark who have the largest display of Breitling watches in the UK - virtually every combination going Shocked they must have 2 or 3 hundred on display !

http://www.andrewmichaels.co.uk/index.asp [ not the most inpressive website though ]

If you are into Breitlings then I can highly recc. taking a trip up to these Thumbs Up

Just purchased a Brietling Navitimer with Croc strap in StLucia duty free $4100 US just under £2000. UK retail is £3200.
It paid for some of the holiday

Nice one Thumbs Up

I must say this was going to be my choice - but having realised the navitimer range [ and some others ] are only water resistent to 30m [ 3bar ] - I decided to give it a miss Sad A shame really as I had my heart set on the Montbrillant versions....... more of a dress watch. However I ended up buying a Chrono Cockpit with Black face & black croc deployant strap. Purchased it from my local jeweller whom I have dealt with personally & on business for many years = Nice big discount, just shows the mark up on these in the UK.

Brilliant MDP Nice watch.
To be honest I would never get either my Cartier Santos or the Brietling wet in the rain if I could help it let alone to that depth.
Even if the watch survived I most certainly wouldnt.
Why are we ripped off so much in this country?

I had a tag Monza. Should have got the monaco though (Stevey rep one with blue strap). Think classic tags are wicked - not into new ones though... My everyday watch is a Breitling Navitimer Olympus in steel with blue face - awesome watch IMO! And subtle enough that you dont look flash! Cool

And Brietling were the first watch maker to invent the automatic chronographic movement! (despite what folks say about Zeniths El whatever movement!)
