You're getting rid of it? After all you've been through with it?

I'll give you £50 next time I'm passing Wokkaland. By the way, what the hell was going on last night - I had several of your company vehicles passing back and forth over my village last night between 8 and 9. The door in the cat flap actually fell out on one occasion due to too much wokka Rolling Eyes

Why don't you have a chat with Kam and get it on his radar? He may know somewhere to offload it for a good price.

£48k is a touch strong, however they are trying to steal it at £43k!

If it's a UK car (yes they are all built here I know Rolling Eyes ), then it's probably £46-£47k for the dealer to then retail at £49,995. TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Afraid £45k might well be the best bid you will find from a dealer. About 2 months ago I eventually tracked a bid down at that level after many bids of less, and I doubt the dealer could match that again today. The market for used cars has been really tight this last couple of weeks so I imagine book prices will take a bit of a hammer in November (new book out on Monday) and I would guess £43k is about book price Big Cry

Regarding your "mid life crisis" though. Happy to compare notes on one of those Thumbs Up Guess I have one most days ! Is yours in the :

"f###ing flog the lot and pi** off" category

or

"Right now I need some seriously big toys 'cos its just occured to me that soon I will be too knackered to enjoy them" category

or

"There's this lovely young bird who has taken a fancy to me and I need to set her up in a shag pad" category

or just a

"too much debt, too much worry, clear the decks and become a buddhist monk" category

or perhaps another category all together ......... Question RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Spectacular writing there Smarticus...I'm laughing all the way off my chair, you should be a screen writer. Very Happy Very Happy

I think one should be proactive when it comes to these types of crises, simply buy the 911 along with the RRS, or one or the other as you can manage, without having to have a reason, that way you're prepared in advance!!

Each car has its own personality, oddly enough I enjoy driving the RRS somewhat more than the 997/911, unless I'm just dying for a blast of speed with that wonderful Porsche engine sound - hard to beat!

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black

Please let me interject, I got the sport in April to tame my midlife crisis, this kept it at bay until September when I took delivery of new Porsche cayman s, now with both cars on my drive I felt that I had it covered, the sport is practical and I needed it. The Porsche is the first thing I have bought without being able to justify it and I wanted it. Best bit of advice Ive been given is 'YOU CANT REGRET IT IF YOU DONT DO IT'
Thumbs Up
