Amazing forum!!

Hi guys, I.ve ordered my 08 TDV8 should get it in the first week of Nov. After reading all your topics and viewing your pics, I just can't wait. I've been driving X5's for the last seven years, so I don't know much about your brand, but wot is a HST?

Seanvodashop, welcome to the forum and you've got yourself a nice car sir! You will notice a big difference over your old X5's
HST is a "go fast" body kit, some square section tail pipes, gaping mouth honeycomb effect cheese-grater front grille and chrome effect finish side vents that only serves to weigh an already heavy car down further. Looks OK in some colours but truly awful in others. It was a separate model at one stage but now the kit comes as a dealer fit accessory, you cannot buy it bit byb bit, you have to buy the whole lot for about £4000 for the dealer to stick onto your car. The addition of this kit means that your RRS looses all of it's offroad ability because ithe front valance is very close to the ground.

imo, the HST kit ruins the original design of the RRS, plus I'd be concerned the HST version will depreciate more than the std version. However if you like it then go for it

Don't have the HST kit if you intend to use the RRS for any sort of offroading, the kit is get damaged. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hey Seanvodashop, Congratulations to you and your fellow South Africans. I've finally recovered from the bout of depression that followed last nights game.

As an Englishman I'm gutted that we didn't win.

As a rugby fan I have to admit the best team in the competition won through in the end.
