2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Travel directions for west London destination wanted please

OK Country boy here who rarely drives in London. I have to get from Southampton to Charles Hurst Land Rover - Park Royal, Dukes Road W3 0SL next Friday to collect my new car. I have typed their postcode into Streemap.co.uk but the scale is still a bit small to see were I can turn off Western Avenue without having to half way into the City.
I have my Indago and the address works in it but I also like to have a map of the area as well as the satnav screen and also some written directions. Any direction would be welcome please. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

(1) M3 to M25
(2) M25 clockwise to A40/M40
(3) Follow A40 into London
(4) After the old Hoover building in left (now a huge Tesco but very Art Decco) you will go under the Hangar Lane Underpass.
(5) After the underpass you'll go past Aston Martin on left then a BP Petrol station, at which point get in left lane.
(6) Pull into slip road 200yds past BP (by P & S Mercedes Specialist).
(7) Double-Back up opposite side of A40 (it will become clear!).
(8.) After 300-400 yards pull into slip road by Shell petrol station.
(9) Follow slip road but keep left (or you'll pop back out onto A40).
(10) Then you will have arrived!!

Will take 15 mins from M25 if there is no traffic. Be careful as there are 4 speed camera's on the A40 between the M25 and Charles Hurst! Whistle

Good luck with the new car! Thumbs Up TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Tim, If you ever need to find somewhere try using the MapsLive site. Just pop in the postcode and you can zoom right in to your destination and choose either a normal map an arial shot or a Hybrid of the 2. There is also a Birds Eye view that gives a handy 3D perspective. It's a great site! Here's the link.

I put in the postcode for your LR dealer and I think it is the building at the top of the road nearest the A40.

Endjin, that is brilliant, and using Landroverstormer's directions combined with having virtually driven into town there will be no excuse for getting lost now! Look at all those Land Rovers parked up, it is some size of LR outlet!
