I've driven my RRS in the driving rain today for the first time since picking it up on Saturday. As I went for a run this evening I looked back up the drive to see that both headlamp units had quite a lot of condensation in them. Surely that isn't right? Would this not be an MOT failure (if it was old enough to require one) and therefore should I go back to the LR dealer and get the units changed?

C10cko, don't worry about the condensation it is not a problem and your vehicle would not fail any kind of MOT.

I still have the issue of condensation in my drivers headlight and have driven round with headlamps on for 5K miles. Unsure whether to get the dealer to take a look now or next service or not bother him! TDV6 16K now.

Is there any sign of water inside the headlamp unit C10CKO? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

No signs of water as such. Certainly none at the bottom of the unit. Just water droplets on the inside of glass, that run down when glass is tapped. Nothing at all on passenger side.

You may have a broken seal on that headlamp unit C10CKO. There shouldn't be any visible droplets of water inside the lens.
