Yes, it's been mentioned here before... I wasn't aware it was available yet though, but someone may well confirm what is going on with it.

They aren't talking about an upgrade to get the phone book, that is a 2008 feature, they are talking about a patch that cures the problem of the phone connection dropping.

Josh, which phone do you have?

I had a software update done on the PTI two weeks ago, but the phonebook, dial memory does not work via bluetooth. The only thing that works is making and answering the calls.

I have a sony ericsson T610i RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass

On the PDI yesterday when the dealer was going through the functions inside the car we came to the bluetooth and he asked for my phone, seen it was a nokia 6230i and said "wait" then he ran off and returned with a cradle and stuck that in the car, the phone connects and sends the phone book ok with bluetooth as well as the cradle. At least I have a place to charge my phone now Thumbs Up Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I have the Nokia 6230i. I can have the phonebook via bluetooth from the phone in my pocket or I can stick it in the cradle which improves the reception. Either way it works ok. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Does the phonebook over BT (and not the cradle) work with any phone or is it pick and choose? I suppose they should really publish an updated version of the approved phones list to cover this new feature.... should be here this time next year, I suppose Whistle
