It's a lot of money to spend if you're still quite happy with the V6....

So have you just got used to the chipping so that it has now become the norm OR does it still have that original whow factor you felt when it was first chipped? Was not the jump in performance from a V6 to V8 enough? I think a lot of us would like to know these things. |

I never had any doubts myself. Had the TDv6 from the day it was announced and ordered the TDv8 upgrade as soon as I could. Both great cars but quite different "animals". The TDv6 is comfortable, agile and reasonably quick. Certainly never felt slow. But I drove her as if she was a slowish vehicle in a relatively sedate style (ie more "Range Rover" than "Sport").

hehe, so many replies. thanks for sharing the thoughts. I think I made up my mind finally and will go for the V8, but just after I talked again with the dealer concerning the price I think there is still a margin to talk about |
