Firstly hello all,newbie here....

I have a query,recently purchased side vents from CSS and the quibble I have is :

does the drivers side vents need the extra backing that fits in the snorkel rubber surround or will a vent without extra mould on back fit just aswell and will the passenger vent fit with the extra backing??

I have installed a previous set and they were reversed,as in passenger vent,no backing etc....

As I have been sent the passenger side with moulding on back and the drivers side is just a plain vent(not what I have on at present)

Dont know if I have been sent a set from a euro/american model as I saw a Dutch Disco with a full snorkel on passenger side and all the fittings appear to be on the drivers side on the RRS here?

Dont know if these are the correct ones or if they will fit and dont want to take a chance of taking originals off and new ones not fitting?ANY SUGGESTIONS before Im left with gapping holes in the side if it all goes pear shaped and i break originals in the removal process??

Have tried to explain problem with CSS but have been sent yet another drivers side vent without backing???

Hmm - I don't seem to remember either side being any different when I did mine, but that was some time ago. I wouldn't worry about trying them out as you don't need to break anything to remove your existing vents. There are some very good instructions around how to do this here:
