I have "D3 M*W" and "D3 D*W" which is mine and my wifes initials. Got them years ago when plates where much cheaper. I think I paid £200 each.

Almost brought a Disco3, so would of suited the plate well. Luckily, decided to wait for the Sport to come out. Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

i wonder what it would be like over here in the states if you were responsible for buying your own number plates.

Mine is just a relatively cheapo DVLA one, but reads ** KAM.

The one im trying to secure (see off topic thread) is: KAM **

Have got K6MS* on my dads 7 series (see speed camera shots on off topic thread) and my sisters has got K5 *** (my initials again) can't tell i was responsible for the purchase of all our plates can you!

Even stitched up one of my mates, he asked me to buy his plate for him with his initials JC* and he said i don't care what the first two characters are as long as there are only 2, so i got naturally K5 JC* . He was mightily Censored off when he realised, but he deserved to have my mark left on his number plate and every car since! haha..

My sis is a GP and got DR 54E** spelling out her name in full.
Her practice partner got DR 54M** as thats her name in full too! (quite jammy with the old 54 numbers).

Quite good as between us we have 2 RS4's and 3 Bmw E90 M3's ordered, so the plates will look fab when the cars arrive.

The best plate i saw recently was on a black'd out high spec bentley arnage and it was being escorted by another large MPV with black'd out windows and its plate read: M0NIE (not sure of exact configuration but that is how it read) looked very impressive blasting through the town centre traffic..

mine was a cheap £250 plate about 4 years ago.

I wanted to get RR55 ATW for my new car but the wife said we had spent enough money as it is!

The 55 would be the Sport Supercharged bit in case you were wondering L319 D4 HSE

Just ordered my new plate, only £250 from DVLA.

All I need now is the Sport to put it on. 43 days and counting.
