The gnet module interrupts the image from the satnav feed to the front monitor and replaces it with its own input, to which you can connect pretty much any portable device that comes with an A/V out, including a backup camera if you want. It's basically a simple split of the same input from the satnav to the front monitor (I think you actually need to splice some wires.) The Nav-TV solution is more integrated, enabling the existing video feed from the RSE system to keep playing on the front monitor while the car is in motion (only if you have RSE, of course) and also enabling the "dormant" (at least in North America) TV input in our cars' infotainment software to obtain an additional input for other portable devices. |

Didn't have it on the Vogue I did the LRE in a couple of weeks ago... the instructor (in his sales spiel) said "you can get it fitted".... but not sure. I'll check on the features list...

I installed one of these Gnet video in motion units in my RRS last night. So far it's worked perfectly. It only took me about 3 hours to fit and only had to splice a few wires. I fitted the box under the passenger seat easily enough. I had to splice into a 12v source in the centre console and into the aux aucio connector in the back of the car. I fitted the source select button and the IR diode in one of the cupholders in the centre console where I already have an Origin B2 speed camera detector device fitted. It's all very slick and works perfectly with my iPhone as the video input source.
