Which one what? A loaded 3.2 FL2 will cost you approx £35k and an RRS S will cost you the same.

But the RRS "S" has manual transmission & cloth seats Shocked

Whereas the FL2 HSE has a full spec !

I'd take the FL2 over the RRS "S" in those circumstances.

The Fl2 will be much quicker and better handling, even the TD4 goes round bends better than the RRS - in my experience. Which would I have? (bearing in mind I have a TD4 auto HSE) Has to be the RRS Embarassed

No she's a woman - all she'll notice is the colour of the car so make sure it's the colour she wants! (Except pink!)

BTW silver is the best colour for a RRS! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Oh Embarassed

Well I'm going the spec I was looking over back in '06 when I was buying "Rupert".

There was an "S" model with no foglamps, cloth seats & manual transmisson.

But that was then & this is now, so maybe that spec no longer is offered. I'm sure I still have the spec card at home & if I can find it, I upload a scan to my gallery in the next day or two Smile

I'll have a good root around at home to see if I have that LR spec card.

I'd swear that it has the "S" listed with manual tranny.

Watch this space...................

Edited to add..................................

Just got home from work & checked the aforementioned Spec Card & I now stand humbly corrected Embarassed

The “S” did indeed have Auto Transmission & not the Manual as I had thought, so you are indeed correct Jimmy_75000 & I was wrong Embarassed

It did though have cloth seats & 17” rims & was missing other stuff, such as front fogs, PDC, auto dip mirror, headlight wash, Xenons & a few other bits ‘n’ bobs that the SE had as standard.

I’d still take a fully loaded HSE FL2 over an “S” RRS though
