NZHereIcum will now become NZHereIam!!!!!!

Well the long awaited date for the move down under is here, I start my new job in Wellington on the 5 November, so will be leaving the UK on 21 October, I will no longer be NZHereIcum, I will be NZHereIam!!!

Mrs NZ is now flapping like mad trying to get everything organised, all I have to do is find a reputable shipping company to get the old girl out there ( thats the RRS not Mrs NZ, although sticking her in an ISO Container for 6 weeks is a tempting idea Twisted Evil )

So anyone got any pointers to a good shipping company? If you dont live on the EDGE, you are taking up too much space!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RORO delivery to New Zealand http://www.autoshippers.co.uk/ i asked them 3 years ago to ship my TD5 down, the import in OZ got to difficult due to Australian job protection measures, not such a big hassle i believe with the New Zealand government. You can get an online quote as well

Hi, although I'm a shipbroker, I can't help as i'm into different types of ships.

Anyway, I know a freight forwarder who can.

He advised me :-

"Subject to type of car often best to fit inside Container
but there is a RoRo service monthly ex Hull and every 10 days
ex Southampton both with 40 days transit

Container traffic would be approx 35 days +/-"

(RoRo = roll on, roll of - like a ferry)

If you want his details, please PM me.
I trust him and have worked with for 10 years on various projects (and I mean on stuff way bigger than a car.)
Hope this helps. 2022 P440e AB
