Re: Steering wheel vibration / judder - only when cold | |

As soon as the car gets between 50 and 60mph, I can feel juddering / vibration through the steering wheel.
However, after a couple of miles, once warmed up, the problem seems to have gone. Was worse this morning, due to the colder outside temp, but again vanished on warm-up.
So... is this:
1) tyre wear
2) balancing
3) steering
4) suspension
Car is a 6 month old TDv8 with 11.5k on the clock.
Mine does this too a little dealer has balanced the front wheels but it still does it a little at about 60.
I also have the illusive knocking through the steering wheel now car was fine now done 8000 miles Blick with blick windows, big wheels, tow bar for nickin, side steps for the tart, DVD screens for on the go porn, 22" Stormers black and polished... as a matter of fact just about every box ticked.....if I`m going down I`m going down BIG time. ))
Ducati 1098S for the road and track and KTM 250EXC smoker for the mud.
