I was tracing the noice....by opening the sunroof flapper (the internal) not the glass the noice reduced when I kept it closed the noice increased....so that means some losen parts in that area vibrating..anybody else can help cad add more comments 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

Maybe you have discovered the issue. If not it's the internal fan like plastic that hides the mechanical parts of the sun roof. It's got way too much play in the fixings and hence rattles over rough terrain.
