United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Bought my first RRS!!!! Hooray!!! Can close this thread now.

Edited 5.45pm 12/9/07

Thanks for everyone's advice on colour combo etc. Managed to bag a decent deal whose details are towards the end of page 3 of this thread, might help from Kam with some nudging to do the dirty deal and clinch it... wow, felt just like GORDON GEKKO from WALL STREET!!! Hey, that's me!! Shocked

Stornoway Grey with Ivory Leather and all the toys I need!!!! Whistle

Hopefully delivered next Wednesday so will get pics uploaded asap. Thumbs Up

Original thread details below

Hi RRS Connoisseurs...

I've decided I definitely want an Ivory interior... as far as exterior colours go, personally I like the Rimini Red but I don't want to be stuck with it when trying to sell or get offered a crap px price from a dealer in the future. So what do people think of these in general and what are your experiences in buying/selling these colours?

Stornaway Grey

Rimini Red

Or should I just play it safe and go for silver/black?[/i] Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings.

Gekko white with black looks the Censored and is rare at the moment Thumbs Up Thumbs Up please don't get black, go grey with cream tinits nice

Mind you the only colour to have a SL55 in is black with black that also looks the Censored unless you are training to be a hairdresser then you could go for a non colour like baby blue silver with red.

Buckingham Blue with Ivory ... looks great and with 2 kids under 8 its still clean (just ban eating and drinking) Laughing Only thing is that with the dust and puddles of water from all the sprinkler systems here in Houston, keeping the exterior clean is like painting the fourth road bridge ! Brit across the Pond Wink

Not a personal fan of the grey... but the blue is good. Personal favourite still black though - if only to annoy Simon Laughing

Not with pale leather they're not, but they're great for space etc and other kid-related things. I had alpaca seats in mine and they took a right beating from Shmoogle Jr 1 but the leather cleans up quite well with baby wipes and for a deeper clean the Meguiars leather cleaner with aloe works a treat! Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've seen this and I'm seriously tempted... Kam says Rimini Red is too risk... I reckon it looks very nice and stands out from the crowd (??is that good or bad)

I'd love to drive round in that but for resale, are these MUCH more popular/easy to get rid of?

Is the Stornoway Grey a calmer/wiser/cooler option?
