Yes it comes complete, albeit in two parts and in my case had a 50mm chrome ball fixed. Maintaining the breed. |

Let me get this right in my head - you guys ordered the factory tow pack at somewhere between $350 and $500 and it doesn't come with a tow ball? What does it include? Just a white TDV8 with a few extras |

That's right. It only includes section that slots into the hidden towbar assembly which leaves a box section into which the tongue with towball slots, which isn't supplied. Oh, and you get the electrical connections as well. |

Makes you wonder how they can justify a $1500 outlay if you get this fitted by a dealer after the car has come out of the factory.

Mine came with the tonge and ball as part of the 'tow pack'. I was expecting the dealer to say that the tongue and ball was 'extra' as I have heard that some dealers price the tow pack this way, however, it was in the car when I picked it up.

WD, yep, the deal was by far the best. I had a broker do checking for me in Sydney. Rolfe beat it. Service quality is another thing altogether.

You confused me with your alter ego I think that we have spoken about the local dealer previously - I am getting an indication of their service, and that even is before the car has arrived. Originally told 12 weeks - now at 15 weeks and still no ETA! Just a white TDV8 with a few extras |

, mine took five months but at least it arrived when they said it would. They could not however give me any indication of whether it was on track or not in the process. I was lucky that the buyer for my D2 was willing to wait and was able to pick up the D2 on the same weekend that the RRS arrived.

When mine turned up 18 months ago with the towpack options. only the mount was in the kit, Alto then promptly pushed Land Rover to supply the actual rest of the pack, which should be part of the complete kit.

Looking at my invoice from Melbourne City Landrover, together with Land Rover Australia 07MY Ordering guide, invoice sets out $370.37 + GST = $407.41 + LCT on $370.37 = $92.59. Total $500.00 complete.
