You need some hardware to add an AV input | |
You need to buy a system from Navtv that makes your Nav screen add the Icon for TV tuner, it also adds the drive in Motion feature, which will allow you to change Navigation settings 100% plus your Video will not shut off after 10 miles speed just like the factory tv tuner.
I have Installed 6 so far and have clocked my time to just under 2 hours.
Its a great ADD-ON, I have just found teh perfect TV tuner to plug in with this moduie, comes with:
2 Video Inputs,
Rear view camera, automatic switch with reverse gear signal!!!
2 Outputs ( splitting siganl with bananas lowers image quality, Thsi is perfect for rear screens!!)
Remote control
PAL/NTSC
You can install either 2 small dropdown screens or one bigger in the middle and have the same or different inout that the front screen your choice!
Rear headrests with DVD players included are also great, I am trying to install a set of touchscreen tv headrests from a new European Company, I am counting the days until I receive them!
And afterwards I added a 6 DVD changer, I am now offering a video add-on which is a harddrive enclosure that plays DIVX, MP3's , WMA, all formats with a graphical User INterface, supports 500Gb HD!
So you can add all the videos you can, plus all the music, and Freedom!!!!!
You can plug in your IpodVideo if youwant as an option:)
I really enjoy doing these installs, its not an easy thing though! But always enjoy it!
I sent a complete video Kit. performance pulley and exhaust to Dubai in February to a good customer called Mansour. RRS SUpercharged, Rimini Red. Everything is a plug and play! If you would buy these accesories from any store they can be installed by an average installer, they dont need any software upgrades whatsoever:)
Write to me anytime!!
Bye
