I don’t get the significance of it being a late 2005 RRS Confused

Unless there’s a different suspension set-up on certain MY’s, which would explain the issues I’ve been having lately fitting my stormers.

In any case I though I’d link to the threads in Maintenance & Modifications where tyre sizes & clearances are discussed.

That's quite true boyd.

The only thing I can say about the 285's is that I had considered going for them myself but in the end went with what LR put on the Stormers out of the factory.

While I'm still not overly excited about the clearances given by the 275/40's. Looking at what I do have by way of clearances, I’d have to wonder what a larger tyre would give.

I also really have to wonder how on Earth there are owners putting on 22’s & in some cases I believe 24’s on their Sports.

Based on my saga, I just can’t see the room under there at all Shocked
