Well, Had my 1/2 day off roading with LR Experience on Wednesday. The setting, between Grantown on Spey & Nairn was superb. We had a stunning sunny day but it had been wet on previous days which meant the off road areas were nice and muddy Very Happy Managed to get the RRS (They only had 1). Amazing what it could do - At one point I was driving up a 40 degree slope in very deep muddy & Rocky ruts with water pouring down them like a stream - The RRS just took it in it's stride! The instructor said we were only 5 degrees off flipping the car on it's back!! Mr. Green Typical of a LR though - at one point the car decided it didn't like being in Off Road mode and reset itself to normal road settings which kinda crunched the underside a bit. Confused We just turned everything off and restarted the car and it sorted itself out and didn't repeat the problem again. All in all a great day and nice to see what my car is capable of - without risking damaging my own one! Whistle Thumbs Up 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Cool Not unusual for LRE cars, got to remember they usually take one hell of a beating 7 days a week.

AH-HA - Ours was the same - Probably the same car, The instructor (Rick) was the Senior Instructor and they had all come up from Dunkeld. They stay up North for 4-5 days once a year to let the North dealers entertain their clients.

Sorry Shmoogle , I didn't get any pics as my mate had said he would bring his camera and then forgot - THE NUMPTY - Thud

Further to Cliff's point about the cars taking a beating - I aksed the LR guys how they get rid of the cars when they are finished with them. The answer was "give them a good clean and put them in to the dealer network"!! Shocked Don't think I'd be too chuffed if I ended up with one that had suffered such a hard life Exclamation Unless they make it clear where it had come from and gave a hefty discount ofcourse! 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Think they do more than a good clean, was told that the wheels are scrapped and brakes fully renewed, but as you say would not fancy one myself.

Best serviced cars your ever likely to come across. They do go out in to the dealer network but with disclosure that they are ex-school cars. Thumbs Up
